Heard of Craig Oldman's Hand Written Letter project? We asked five Aus design studios to write to Craig: http://t.co/2i4Q614l
Just about every communications, media or graphic student decides at some stage that they are going to design t-shirts and take over the world, myself included. But the fashion world can be a cruel mistress, and pie in the sky dreams of throwing in the Wacom tablet and picking up the needle and thread are often dashed quickly.
Perhaps that’s why we love success stories so much. Meet Michael and Aaron, two Sydney-siders who together form Love Jungle, a fashion brand concentrating on Modern Street apparel and finding inspiration in the concrete jungle. The geometric shapes and monochromatic colours reflect their attitude towards minimalism and city scaped inspired designs.

Colours go in and out of fashion, as do complex and often overcomplicated designs, so it’s no wonder that there are those out there who realise this and create their apparel to get better with age. It’s almost a foreign concept for traditional fashion but traditional is not what Love Jungle is about. “Anything but a mere fad or scene” sums it up nicely.
