I was first introduced to Barcelona based Alex Trochut when he spoke at Semi-Permanent in Sydney 2008 and have been checking in on his work ever since. He is one of those naturally talented people who you want to hate for having so much talent but he is such a nice guy that you just can’t. When you check over his folio of works pay attention to his type experiments at the very bottom of his works section. Alex’s mantra is “more is more” and it shows, this guy just can’t stop at one version. And a lot of this stuff is done in his spare time for fun. See – you want to hate him too…
