Want to design a @swatch watch for TTR World Snowboarding tour? http://t.co/Kjuod507
So what ever happens to used skateboard decks? Most of them end up under the bed and surface only during nostalgic moments when you want to remember a time when you were not a 42 year old balding executive. However a lucky few, end up being turned into cool stuff like these amazing artworks from art collective haroshi.
A refreshing take on eco and recycled artwork, the HARVEST project showcased a selection of the collective’s work throughout the years, following a philosphy to embrace sustainability through finding new applications for used possessions.
Nice exhibtion ey? Too bad it finished last week, and too bad it was in Tokyo (unless you live in Tokyo and happened to see it).
Fingers crossed some of our Australian gallery friends will bring this over to our shores. Hint hint.

Amazing.
I really can’t get over the moose.
They should make a stepladder out of decks to help you with that…

Skate boards go to a better place—creatively
they must have followed a lot of fat kids to get that many boards!
The magazine ACCLAIM did an interview with these guys a while ago. Worth checking out…
