Architectural designer, Karen M O’Leary, deconstructs the concept of the city by stripping away it’s complexities, bringing to light the minimalist beauty of the streets and cityscapes we know too well. She creates art works from city maps of Amsterdam, Paris, London, Rome, NY and Melbourne, just to name a few! The white maps are hand-drawn and all are hand-cut (as opposed to laser-cut) and can take up to months to finish! She also does them as original black and white line drawings. Super cool.
