For the first time in Australia, the Account Planning Group (APG) will present a Battle of Big Thinking on Wednesday 17 March 2010 at Carriageworks, Sydney. Think of it as brain-storming – Gladiator style, and you will have a pretty good idea about what to expect. Bringing together a selection of clever thinkers from advertising and marketing, media, storytelling, Government, social and business, each of whom will come to the event with a big idea for public contention.
‘So exactly how big are we talking?’ I hear you ask. To qualify as ‘big’, the thinking must demonstrate a paradigmatic shift; essentially one that sets up a change to the status quo.
“This event is a first for the APG in Australia and whilst many of our members will be familiar with the successful UK original, we’re excited to be launching a unique local version with a broader platform of interests,” said APG Chairman Jeremy Nicholas.
With all profits going to the Inspire Foundation, an organisation dedicated to preventing youth suicide through innovative and practical online programs, this is a great opportunity to hear 15 big, different and inspirational ideas in one entertaining afternoon.
