Verve, the industry training advisory board (ITAB) for the cultural and recreation industries in Victoria, are looking for a logo to represent their annual awards night. The winner will score themselves a $500 cash prize plus a 12 month subscription to Desktop magazine.

What do they need?
A logo to represent Verve’s annual awards night, SpArt, showcasing the achievements of people involved in the arts and sports industries through Vocational Education, Training and Employment. Ten awards are given out to formally recognise their contribution in their respective fields.

Verve want a colourful and eye-catching logo, reflecting the arts and sports industries including fitness, sport and community recreation, outdoor recreation, galleries, libraries and museums, visual arts, craft and design, film, television and radio, multimedia, animation and games, music and recording, writing and publishing, performing arts, theatre, dance, circus, and live production.

What should it say?
The logo needs to include the event name, SpArt and be able to be used year after year.

What is it going to be used for?
In all areas of promotion and marketing for the event, think e-newsletters, invitations, tickets, website (www.verve.org.au), fliers, awards program etc

Who can enter?
Anyone! All you need is a talented and creative mind! Enter as many times as you want, provided you use a different logo each time!

Any extra information?
You can use any software you like, but make sure your final design is saved in a vector format. The design needs to be versatile, as it will be used in various forms.

How to enter?
Email your final design to pip.losper@verve.org.au by noon Friday the 12th of March. Winner will be determined by most suitable design for SpArt. The winner will be notified shortly after this date.
