Yowch! That’s gotta hurt.

An argument between Counter-Strike players at a Chinese internet café in the Jilin province has led to 16 year old Xiao Wei being stabbed through the head with a foot-long knife – and incredibly living to tell the tale.

Wei was suspected of using a cheat in the game that allowed him to see through walls, giving him advantage in this game that has been likened to a computerized game of hide and go kill each other.

Doctors at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Jilin University said an X-ray showed the blade entering Wei’s right temple and exiting about 1cm above his left temple. “His face was covered in blood, but he was still conscious,” says neurosurgeon Yan Shijun.

Wei’s condition is  stable, surviving the two hour operation required to remove the knife.
