Heard of Craig Oldman's Hand Written Letter project? We asked five Aus design studios to write to Craig: http://t.co/2i4Q614l
Everytime I have a date there’s only one place to go
That’s to the drive in
It’s such a groovy place to talk and maybe watch a show
Down at the drive in
Yes indeed, the Beach Boys knew their stuff! The combination of driving and cinema is the coolest thing since 1933 and because of this, a fourth (yes fourth!) drive-in cinema has opened in Melbourne. Don’t have a car? No problems, this cinema also caters for those of you who prefer to lounge in a deckchair to catch the latest blockbuster.
At sundown each night (approximately 8.30pm), the main feature will commence on an inflatable screen, projected from high grade commercial digital equipment running directly from a High Definition media server of Blu Ray/DVD, with audio transmitted through a nominated FM frequency.
Jefferson Ford’s Sunset Drive-In is situated on the rooftop car park of the South Melbourne Market and operates every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until May 2nd.
So grab your dim-sims, your favourite Danny Zuko wig and go check it out!
