Can the team at Electric Art do no wrong? Besides creating the amazingly wonderful giraffe up the tree that features on the cover of our March issue, the image specialists have recently utilised Google Earth for the latest US-based print campaign “Hybrid Roads” for Lexus.

The brief was to create a sentence made up of roads and intersections from all across the globe, using Google Earth as the ultimate location scout.

“The secret to this jobs success lay in the effort that went into searching the earth for appropriate roads and intersections that would provide the base for all the letters,”  explains Electric Art’s Jonathon Eadie. “Google Earth gave us the eyes and EA provided the talent.  Hey presto, here’s the ad.  The funny thing about some of these letter forms is that the ones that look totally fake are the ones we didn’t do much to, they actually look like that – crazy humans.”
