Heard of Craig Oldman's Hand Written Letter project? We asked five Aus design studios to write to Craig: http://t.co/2i4Q614l
If you are a bit of a logo freak, check out this video and try to spot each of the 2,500 logo’s that appear in this incredible animated short. A big success at Sundance last month, the 15-minute film is set in an alternate universe populated solely by company mascots and logos.
Written and directed by French duo François Alaux and Herve de Crecy, Logorama has been nominated for an Oscar in the Best Animated Short category and is being tipped to win the golden statue.
We are not sure if the animators are getting into any trouble with some of the big corporations they feature and parody, however here’s hoping they do see the funny side of it, as this is one of the most enjoyable short films we have seen in a while. Clever, witty and just a little bit violent, fingers crossed Logorama does well at the 82nd Academy Awards, which are held in early March.
The full video keeps being taken down on-line, so we can’t embed a reliable video here. To check it out, just search for Logorama in YouTube and hopefully something will be up for you.
