Heard of Craig Oldman's Hand Written Letter project? We asked five Aus design studios to write to Craig: http://t.co/2i4Q614l
Obama, Mandela and the Dalai Lama have had their turn, and now it could be time for the internet to shine, having just been nominated for this year’s Nobel Peace Prize. Yep that’s right, the internet is among a record 237 organisations and individuals to be in the running for this year’s awards which will be announced on the 8th of October.
It is expected the prize amount will be the same as last year’s 10m Swedish kroner (approx AU$1.5m), which was won by president Barack Obama last year. There is no word yet as to who would collect the award and where the money would go, if the internet were to win the prestigious award.

huh? that’s pretty random.. i guess the internet does bring people together, which could be seen as ‘peace’. it creates a lot of bad things too, haters, child porn etc – will they consider this when judging?
