Findie is an independently run and funded web-based social network aimed at independent stage and screenwriters, cinematographers, actors and directors. At Findie you can upload your original independent project (short film, feature film, television script, stage play or just an idea) for people to view, rate, read, comment and get involved in.

Godel is a young design studio based out of Fitzroy, run by David Meister and Josh Hardy. Our projects are always a collective effort, enabling each contributor to do their best in the area that they specialise. Findie was no different. The logo and branding were created by a UK-import, now based in Melbourne, Shaun Manyweathers. The background pattern was designed by talented local illustrator, Julie Newton. In the spirit of collaboration (something obviously key to Findie itself) the site was built on the Drupal platform, an open source content and user management system. This was creatively configured by a French import, Cyril Gaillard. Styling was done by yet another Englishman, Merlin Mason. Findie contains minimal images, and all the animations, rollovers and shadows are courtesy of his CSS3 wizardry. This means Findie is still accessible on devices, and low bandwidth connections.
